Welcome to Saltcotes Hall Holiday Cottages...

Saltcotes Farm Cottage attached to Saltcotes Hall, which together with two other barns form a private courtyard on this small working farm specialising in breeding belted Galloway cattle and rare bread sheep.

The cottage is well equipped, very comfortable and have plenty of old world charm.

The Hall itself is steeped in history, being a stop for monks, travelling between Furness and Lancaster and the site originally contained the pans where salt was harvested, hence the name.

The cottage is within a easy, level stroll of Arnside promenade, shopping and dining facilities and are an ideal base for walking and birdwatching.

Arnside Knott, RSPB Nature Reserve at Leighton Moss, Cartmel Peninsular and the Southern Lakes are all only a short drive away.

We are in the heart of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
